Il y a quelques mois j'avais posté sur le site VCS et un lecteur autrichien m'a contacté pour des renseignements techniques supplémentaires mais aussi pour dire que la carte la plus simple est en fait une NEC TK-80 .

Détail amusant, la NEC TK-80 d'origine est livré avec 512 octets de ram et 768 octets de moniteur, oui des octets celle de la WDA, estampillé Learning Tree, a le double de ram soit un total de 1ko et 256 octets de moniteur en plus soit 1ko, c'est du lourd

Hi, have you further information about this board (the big one with the plexi glas board)
I have only the board, no psu no interface card. Can you help me with the documentation ? I can use another psu I have already. The smaller board which look like (I am almost sure) a NEC TK-80 training kit (four D5101) left upper corner), very interesting board my one is still working.

Hi Peter,

We have not any documentation on ICS "plexiglass" board (P/N 72001) but we have all FRENCH documention for the TK-80 board (the small one).
I don't own anymore these cards, they're in the WDA stock, perfectly tidy against moisture and other bugs .

I sent you a mail few days ago with some tricks to find out the right pinout of the power connector of the ICS board P/N 72001-J Rev. E.
You need a +5, +12 and -5V PSU (an AT/ATX PC PSU could do the job). I think the -12v is mandatory only for the RS232 serial I/O on the optionnal board P/N 1053601-3.

For finding out the power connector pinout, follow the power pin of the microprocessor 8080 with a multimeter in Ohm or continuity test.

Pin 2 = GND
Pin 11 = -5V
Pin 20 = +5V
Pin 28 = +12V

J'ai enfin dé-assemblé les 2 PROM. Grâce à la documentation scannée de la petite carte, j'ai commencé à commenter le listing pour comprendre le moniteur.

Je mettrais sur un FTP quand cela sera terminé ...
